Property Maintenance
Paving
Paving fails in small areas long before it fails overall — a lifted paver at a doorway, a sunken patch where water collects, a cracked run along a path. Those are repairable, and worth repairing before they become a trip hazard or a bigger job.
Overview
What this service involves
Most paving work on a maintained property is repair and replacement rather than new construction: lifting and resetting pavers that have sunk or moved, replacing cracked and broken units, re-levelling a section that has settled, and tidying the edges and joints that let a paved area go.
Small new projects fit the same bracket — a short pathway, a courtyard area, a landing at an entry. Work is scoped against what's actually there, because the existing base and the condition of the surrounding pavers determine what a repair can achieve.

Arrangements
One-off or ongoing
How the work is usually arranged. Nothing here is a fixed package — the scope is written around the property.
- One-off repair to a specific failed area
- Small paving project — a pathway, courtyard or landing
- Repairs identified during a scheduled maintenance inspection
- Combined with pressure washing so the whole paved area presents evenly
What to know
This is paving repair, replacement and small-project work. Where a job requires a licensed trade under NSW law — structural work, significant drainage or retaining elements, or work above the value threshold at which home building work must be done under licence — it is referred to or coordinated with an appropriately licensed contractor rather than attempted in-house. NMG does not hold or imply builder or specialist contractor licences beyond what is stated on this site. Matching replacement pavers to an existing area also depends on what is still available — aged and discontinued pavers may not match exactly.
Why NMG
Why clients engage us for this
- Scoped honestly against the existing base and surrounding surface
- Referred to a licensed contractor where the work genuinely needs one
- Repairs and exterior washing handled together, so the area presents evenly
- One point of contact for paving alongside other property upkeep
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Can you match my existing pavers?
Where the paver is still available, usually yes. Aged or discontinued pavers may not match exactly — we'd rather show you the closest match and let you decide than surprise you with a patch that stands out.
Do you do large new paving installations?
The focus is repairs, replacement and small projects. Larger installations, and anything needing a licensed trade, are coordinated with an appropriately licensed contractor.
My pavers have sunk and water pools there — can that be fixed?
Often, by lifting and re-levelling the affected section. Where the cause is a drainage problem rather than settled pavers, re-levelling alone won't hold, and we'll say so rather than repeat the repair in a year.
